After a 20 year career in Marketing, Sam Proctor decided to follow her passion for design and horticulture after fortuitously winning tickets to the Chelsea Flower Show on Twitter! Enthused and inspired, she threw herself into her passion with gusto. She was privileged to spend at year at RBG Kew, studying on the Diploma course at the London College of Garden Design, where she gained a distinction. Keen to gain experience on large and complex projects before going it alone, she spent over 3 years as part of the award-wining multi-disciplinary design team at Aralia, before launching her own garden design studio, Chiltern Garden Design. She has also played a part in the planting of medal winning RHS show gardens at both Hampton Court and Chelsea Flower Shows, for Will Williams and Tom Massey. Sam qualified to become a fully registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers, (MSGD) and a Garden Designer member of the APL (MAPL) in 2023.
