Elaine is an enthusiastic Chartered Landscape Architect, sustainability and engagement specialist and director of reShaped, with over 24 years experience in the construction industry. Elaine is a member of Design Council, Places Matter, Cheshire West and Chester Design Review Panel, LI representative on the Building with Nature standards board.

Over her career, Elaine has purposefully specialised in the creation of well-designed sustainable places that are of meaning to people. She believes that sustainable design is less about ‘Eco-bling‘ and more about making space useable and adding beauty and interest to peoples lives, whilst also sensitively integrating a development with its context and reusing existing resources.

She is described by her peers as “a pragmatic and innovative designer who has a huge enthusiasm for landscape architecture” and applauded by her clients for her “customer focus ..and achievement of very difficult timescales”  She is most proud of her Landscape Institute award for BlueGreen Liverpool Engagement and increasing pollinator biodiversity by 1280% on her most recent Urban GreenUP commission for Liverpool City Council
