Green Roofs: How to Successfully Use Green Structures in a Domestic Setting

In this UK Green Roof Organisation (GRO) sponsored session, Tom Young will explore how green roofs can be built in the domestic setting. Using GRO’s experience as the only UK trade association for the green roof industry, the do’ and don’ts of domestic green roofing will be explained. Tom will also touch on the benefits of combining solar with green roofs, the importance of good substrate choice, plant selection and latest fire guidance. Tom will also introduce GRO, its role and information that can accessed through the organisation.
